There is the one of the largest flamenco fesival in the United States held every year at University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, the United States. The New Mexico native dancer and founder of the Flamenco Department of UNM, Eva Encinias-Sandval is the organizer of the festival. The department invites the top artists from Spain for this annual festival to the stages and to the workshops.
